The past couple weeks have been busy for Baseball. Great spring games, crazy contracts (Manny Machado – 10 yrs/$300 million, Bryce Harper – 13 yrs/$330 million and capped off by Mike Trout – 12 yrs/$430 million) and fans said farewell to one of the greatest to ever play the game (Ichiro Suzuki retired on March 21st). And, in Babe Ruth news, Ruth was recently featured in two commercials.

And the other was for the Yankees. There is a little story to this one. Back in December, reliever Adam Ottavino (at the time a free agent) declared on an MLB.com podcast that Babe Ruth would struggle in the modern game and that he’d consistently strike the Baseball great out.
