Apparently the LA Dodgers got into the mix in commemorating Babe’s 100 years in Major League Baseball. On September 9th, the Dodgers hosted Babe Ruth Bobblehead Day.
What does the Babe have to do with the Dodgers you may ask? He actually was first base coach for Brooklyn Dodgers in 1938.
Is this a stretch? A bit. But at Babe Ruth Central, we like to see every opportunity for baseball to embrace the Babe, so we’re all for it! Just goes to show just how special the Babe continues to be…. throughout all of the Big Leagues!
