We’re Back! And, This Day in Babe Ruth History
Hey there Babe Ruth Central fans, our site had a very rough week. Somehow our site got corrupted and virtually disappeared overnight – not good! Fortunately, we were able to recover everything and continue on. We wanted to let everyone know that we’re back and thought we’d celebrate by recognizing a Babe Ruth Milestone. On August 11th, 1929, Babe Ruth became the first member of the prestigous 500 Home Run Club. He hit #500 against Cleveland Indians pitcher Willis Hudlin at Cleveland’s League Park.
