Ruth’s Grandson Talks to ESPN About His Gold Watch Up For Auction

This week, Babe Ruth’s grandson, Tom Stevens, was interviewed on ESPN’s “Mint Condition.” Stevens has recently put a special family heirloom up for auction. The item is a gold watch that was given to the Babe by the Yankees during his last appearance at Yankee Stadium on June 13th, 1948. The watch was handed down to Stevens by his grandmother and Babe’s wife, Claire Ruth, as a college graduation present.
